Dr Melvyn Stokes, is a Reader in Film History at University College London and Director of the AHRC funded ‘Cultural Memory and British Cinema-Going of the 1960s’ research project.
Dr Matthew Jones, is the Research Associate on the ‘Cultural Memory and British Cinema-Going of the 1960s’ research project in UCL’s Department of History.
This event is hosted by UCL’s ‘Cultural Memory and British Cinema-Going of the 1960s’ research project and will comprise of a brief introduction to the film by Dr Melvyn Stokes and Dr Matthew Jones then the screening of the 1967 film ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ followed by a discussion of the audiences memories of cinema-going.
