All day the South Cloisters of the Wilkins Building will play host to an exhibition of posters and films, showcasing projects that have been supported by the Grand Challenges.

From 13:45, Vice-Provost (Research) Professor David Price will be introducing a series of presentations from successful projects, showing how cross-disciplinary working helped them and what has happened to their research.

The event is open to all UCL students, researchers, staff, alumni and members of the public who want to find out more about this uniquely UCL approach to cross-disciplinary research.

About: Since 2009, the UCL Grand Challenges have changed the way our researchers investigate the world’s problems. This approach has fostered cross-disciplinary research at UCL on a large scale and we aim to expand upon that success. UCL Grand Challenges aims to bring researchers together at our university and set the agenda for future research, while building bridges with many external partners
