This symposium event will explore the challenges of designing infrastructure for the 21st century and ask some key questions:

- How can we evaluate infrastructure for eg a 100-year time horizon?
- Adaptable infrastrsucture: should we build buidlings to fail 'nicely'?
- What makes infrastructure sustainable?
- Is 'sustainable' good?

This is the 5th Choshu Five Symposium.
