CRUK-UCL Early Detection Funding Opportunities Event

(link Map)
Charles Bell House | 43-45 Foley Street | London | W1W 7TS | United Kingdom

Open to: Academic | Student

Hosted by CRUK and the UCL Cancer Domain.

Detecting cancer early enough for curative intervention, whilst avoiding over-treatment, is one of the most important challenges in cancer medicine. Consequently, early detection is a strategic priority for Cancer Research UK, which aims to drive forward a transformation in how and when cancer is detected. To accelerate progress, CRUK has invested in a number of early detection funding schemes.

The meeting brings UCL clinical and non-clinical researchers together to consider the early detection ‘vision’ and challenges, explore the CRUK funding opportunities in more detail, and hear about future events.

The talks will be followed by informal networking between researchers of different disciplines, and CRUK staff, which we hope will stimulate discussion and research ideas.
