UCLU Debating Society is delighted to invite everyone to our special end-of-term event where we will be hosting a debate on the issue ‘This House Believes that Multiculturalism Has Failed.’ Whether you’re a regular at our debates or have never been before, everyone is more than welcome.

In an increasingly globalised world, how do we balance national and multiple identities in society? Has Multiculturalism failed as an integrative model? Despite its fundamental significance to Britain today, the legacy of Multiculturalism is a subject that is rarely addressed publicly. We are honoured to be hosting an exceptional panel of six distinguished figures for the debate.

Following the debate we will be hosting a drinks reception at the Old Refectory to celebrate the end of term. Everyone is welcome to join us for the social, where entertainment will be provided by the UCLU Bongo Society. We hope to see as many people as possible there to end the term in style.
