Professor James Graham Campbell, Emeritus Professor, UCL

Professor James Graham-Campbell presents the 9th Annual Sir David Wilson Lecture in Medieval Studies on The Galloway (2014) Viking hoard, a collection of over 100 objects of gold and silver, and buried in the late 9th/early 10th century, apparently inside a timber building within a large (?ecclesiastical) enclosure.

The 9th Annual Sir David Wilson Lecture in Medieval Studies and first talk in the 2017-18 Institute of Archaeology/British Museum Medieval Seminar Series.
