UCL Institute of Brand and Innovation Law (IBIL): Annual Sir Hugh Laddie Lecture 2011.

Speaking at this lecture will be The Hon Mrs Justice Fidelma Macken, appointed a Judge of the High Court in 1998 and in 1999 became the first woman Judge of the European Court of Justice (ECJ), where she served until October 2004. She was President of 3rd and 6th Chambers of the ECJ from 2001 to 2002. From 2004 to 2005 she served again as a Judge of the High Court and was appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court in mid 2005.
