Today, we live longer and more prosperous lives than ever before, as a species we have made huge advances to create conditions for better health for billions of people, however, this progress is taking a heavy toll on the planet’s natural systems. The rate at which resources are consumed and the population is growing is degrading nature at an alarming rate and is this actually undermining our wellbeing?

Following the lecture there will be a free wine reception at the Grant Museum of Zoology.
