UCL Medsin society is holding their first conference on global mental health. This is an underfunded but hugely important area of global health; in regions most affected by factors detrimental to mental health such as conflict, infectious disease and poverty, resources are often the most scarce and understanding of the underlying causes of psychiatric problems can be limited.

This conference will provide a real insight into these issues and more, highlighting some of the key areas which can be addressed, and encouraging them to get involved!

If you are interested in psychiatry, psychology, international development, conflict or global health then this conference is for you!
