Lecture Theatre 2 from 2:00pm Following a welcome address from Professor Sir John Tooke, Vice-Provost (Health), you will be introduced to the UCL Partner’s ENT programme which explores ways in which UCL science can improve the lives of those with communication and other disorders in our community. Topics covered will include: Clinical trials, new technology, new ways of delivering care
Atrium from 3:30pm Refreshments will be served and you will have the opportunity to explore some of our exciting projects in more detail by visiting themed stands including: Cochlear Implants, building new organs, OperaVOX voice technology, audiology led clinics, Communication Centre of Excellence, making sense of decommissioning, guiding choice in otitis media, towards a medical treatment for tinnitus
Atrium at 5:00pm Professor Alan Thompson (Faculty Dean) will give a closing speech entitled: “Biomedical Research and Health in 2030” followed by drinks and canapés
