Speaker: Professor Bernie Hannigan- Director- Research, Translation & Innovation Public Health England

Abstract: Generating and disseminating evidence and enhancing the knowledge base for health services and practice are core activities for many in higher education and in health systems. But how well do we understand the ways in which the provision of evidence impacts on public health services? Public Health England collates, analyses and presents evidence – as do similar organisations – so we need to know we are influencing decision-making for the better.
