An afternoon of panels featuring academics and theatre practitioners in conversation, discussing the challenges of staging ancient Greek Tragedy in the modern world. Participants include Prof. Edith Hall (KCL), Ben Power (Associate Director for the National Theatre, whose version of Medea featuring Helen McCrory recently debuted at the NT), Helen Eastman (Director of the Cambridge Greek Plays and consultant to the Old Vic's production of Electra featuring Kristin Scott Thomas). A wine reception will follow.
