Join study members and scientists behind two British birth cohort studies for the premiere of “Across Generations”.

For the first time, this innovative short film brings together study members from two world-renowned birth cohort studies to discuss the importance of longitudinal research. The study members discuss their memories of being involved in the study, their reasons for continued participation and their ideas for future research.

“Across Generations” involves participants from the MRC National Study of Health and Development (NSHD) who this year are celebrating their 70th birthday and Children of the 90s who are coming up to their 25th birthday.

After the film showing, join study members and scientists to discuss the importance of birth cohort studies, what they can tell us about health and society and why study members remain participants for their whole lives!
