How to prepare fellowship/grant applications

Room 422 | Roberts Building (link Map)
Malet Place | London | WC1E 7JE | United Kingdom

The UCL SLMS Research Coordination Office (RCO) are holding this event for SLMS early career researchers who are interested in applying for a fellowship/grant.

Dr Gemma Bilsborough (SLMS Strategic Research Facilitator, UCL Research Coordination Office) will provide an overview of the important steps in preparing a grant application, key tips on how to write a successful application, and a summary of resources available to help with the application process.

Professor Graham Hart (Dean, UCL Faculty of Population Health Sciences) will set this advice into the context of his experience in chairing funding panels and participating in funding decisions, covering what the committee is looking for and what to include and avoid.

There will also be an opportunity to network over coffee and meet visiting Postdocs from the Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) after the session ends at 10:00am.
