Speaker information: Dr Adrian Moore, RIKEN Brain Science Institute, Tokyo, Japan Host: Paolo Salomoni, UCL Cancer Institute. Synopsis: Adrian investigates the genetic and cell-biological mechanisms by which neuron class fate choices are made and then translated into class-specific dendrite arbor shape, connectivity, and function. In particular, his group studies the role of Notch and the PRDM family, in regulation of central nervous system neurogenesis.
