Citizen Science is the term used to describe amateur involvement in science that predates professional science. The field is currently undergoing a renaissance and more importantly, growing recognition. Thanks to the Internet, people are participating in scientific research using their PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet. This is a trend we call Citizen Cyberscience.

The Citizen Cyberscience Summit bring together people from a wide range of fields and walks of life – professional scientists, software developers and enthusiastic amateurs – to discuss and debate the latest trends in citizen science and learn from each others' experiences.

Please arrive at the Reception Desk between 9:30-10:30. This will be located in the Gustave Tuck, Wilkins Building, Gower Street, WC1E 6BT.
