Speaker information

Professor Gerald Grace, UCL Institute of Education, has taught Education Studies at King's College, London, and the Universities of Cambridge, Wellington New Zealand and Durham. He is currently Director of the Centre for Research and Development in Catholic Education (CRDCE) at the IOE. In October 2014, Pope Francis awarded him a KSG for `services to Catholic education, nationally and internationally'.

Professor Gerald Grace will present a summary of Catholic values in education, discussing both the opportunities and challenges they present. The talk will be followed by an interactive session in which the discussion will be extended to the relationship between education and values in other religions.
