Speaker information

Alberto J. Verme, Global Chairman and Former EMEA CEO of Citigroup, Citi, Alberto Verme is Global Chairman of Institutional Clients Group for Citi providing full content delivery to Citi’s top institutional and private banking clients. Prior to his current position, Alberto led the Global Investment Banking division and served as a member of the Institutional Clients Group Management Committee and Investment Banking Operating Committee. His banking career also included leading Citi’s Global Energy, Power and Chemicals franchise from 2001 to 2004. Alberto joined Salomon Brothers in 1994 and worked as Head, and later Chairman, of Citi’s Latin America Investment Banking Group through 2001. A Peruvian national, he is married to Milagros. His passions are philanthropy, literature, music, football.
Mark Echlin, Co-Head of EMEA Investment Banking&Capital Market, Credit Suisse, Mark Echlin is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse International, based in London. He is Co-Head of EMEA Investment Banking & Capital Markets and Co-Head of the Global Industrials Group. He is a member of the IB&CM Global Management Committee, the EMEA Executive Committee, the EMEA Client Board and the UK IB Executive Committee. As Co-Head of the Global Industrials Group, Mr. Echlin is responsible for the metals and mining, capital goods, automotive, chemicals, aerospace and defense and etc, Mr. Echlin joined Credit Suisse in 2009 from Merrill Lynch where he was a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Department, with responsibility for the Industrial Group. Prior to this, he worked for Morgan Stanley for 17 years.
