How can I establish mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships with diverse and hard-to-reach publics?

Room M2 (link Map)
The School of Pharmacy | University of London | 29-39 Brunswick Square | London | WC1N 1AX | United Kingdom

Open to: Academic | Student

This session will discuss ways to reach outside these ‘usual suspects’, by pushing boundaries outside of common PPI and PE channels and practice. We will address which groups tend to be underrepresented and consider methods to overcome barriers to their involvement in research.

The session will feature a few speakers with experience of doing this in their own work, there to spark conversations in the room, whether from those with prior experience or bright ideas!

This is part of a series of events to support those across the UCL School of Life and Medical Sciences (SLMS) working in Public Engagement and Patient and Public Involvement. These take place regularly, focussing on different topics each time.
