Patients as partners in co-design masterclass

Coin Street Conference Centre (link Map)
108 Stamford St, South Bank | London | SE1 9NH | United Kingdom

Open to: Academic | Student

This one-day course teaches participants how to draw on the experiences of patients, carers and staff to identify where change is needed and then design and implement improvements together. Participants will gain a theoretical overview of the Co-design method and practical instruction to enable them to lead a project of their own.

Upon completion, participants will be equipped with the skills to lead a project of their own, and then replicate and embed the patient-centred approach in their own organisation. By employing the Co-design method, participants will help to ensure the long term success and sustainability of their own improvement projects.

The course is aimed at clinicians and quality improvement managers who are preparing to lead a service improvement programme within their own organisation. Organisations should send two or more delegates to the training, ideally one to be a patient leader.
