Speaker information

Lukas Laffers, Norwegian School of Economics

I present a way how sharp bounds on average treatment effects can be calculated by means of linear programming under various sets of assumptions. I demonstrate this method on an application of an effect of parental schooling on children’s schooling in which the method provides a sensitivity analysis to the identifying assumptions. I also show how bounds change in the presence of missing data or mismeasurement.
