The international Conference Urban Change in Iran will be held at University College London on 8 and 9 November 2012. The conference aims to bring together the knowledge of the dynamics of urban change and urban management in Iran's built environment and also to explore the ways in which the knowledge of the subject matter can inform the practice.
Through a mixture of formal academic presentations, workshops and poster presentation sessions, as well as a specialist exhibition, delegates will be exposed to a wide range of factors involved in forming communities and cities within the Middle East and Central Asia regions. The event includes as many networking opportunities as possible to enable delegates to share their goals, experiences and expand their professional links.
The event is suitable for students, academics or professionals/practitioners in the field of planning, architecture, development, urban design, sustainability, international development, and the built environment.
