An evening in conversation with political and literary journalist Sir Peter Stothard and Egyptologist John J. Johnston at the newly refurbished Egyptian Cultural Bureau (ECB) in Mayfair to launch his new book Alexandria: The Last Nights of Cleopatra part memoir, part travel writing, part historical reference.

The launch coincides with the soon to be opened UCL Petrie Galleries at the ECB. The evening offers a chance to see some of the newly refurbished building enjoy a soft cocktail and listen to Sir Peter’s life long interest in the history of Cleopatra and his mission to write a book on the subject.
