Drawing on the collection including the papyrus texts, life for women in Ancient Egypt will be under the spotlight in this talk as part of the UCL Vote100, with views on contemporary women adopting ancient Egyptian heritage for empowerment, the role of ancient Egyptian women outside the home and the assumptions made about women's bodies in ancient culture.
