Sally Broom, Founder, Tripbod.com, Tripbod is unique in that it gives travellers unrivalled access to tailored local knowledge, to help make the most of every minute away. Tripbod is the re-branded commercial arm of YourSafePlanet, the website Sally started in 2006 during her final year at UCL studying Human Sciences. Tripbod launched in September 2009 and has since been voted best new travel website by the Times, Telegraph and Web User magazine. Tripbod have recently received seed investment and signed an exclusive deal with Rough Guides.

UCL's Department of Management Science and Innovation and UCL Advances organises a series of guest lectures from leading entrepreneurs and investors. These will be held every Thursday evening (during term time) starting at 17:15pm.

This week's guest speaker is Sally Broom, founder of Tripbod.com, the travel website connecting travellers on-line to hand-picked local experts in the places they want to visit.
