UCL Press, the UK’s first fully open access university press, is pleased to invite you to a presentation and discussion about the launch of its new open access megajournal platform.

In recent years, megajournals, such as PLOS ONE and other newer initiatives like the Wellcome Trust’s new open science platform Wellcome Open Research, have changed the landscape of journal publishing. UCL Press is now pleased to announce the launch of its own open access megajournal platform and invites you to hear about its plans, contribute to its development and find out how to get involved. The event will feature guest talks from other megajournal publishers who will present their models and the benefits of open access megajournals. The presentations will be followed by a Q&A panel session. A drinks reception will be take place after the meeting.
