The National Institute for Health Research University College London Hospitals Biomedical Research Centre in partnership with UCLPartners is running a programme of regular award-winning workshops for clinical academic researchers on patient and public involvement (PPI) in research.

The workshops, which are supported by the Wellcome Trust and open to researchers working in UCLPartners partnership organisations, are practical and the aim is to build up researchers’ skills in effectively involving lay people in the research process, from setting research priorities to designing protocols.

This workshop is only for researchers with real practical experience of involving patients in their research. The workshop is an opportunity to reflect on what you’ve done so far, to celebrate what has gone well and to consider and plan to address some of the challenges
