Open to: Academic | Alumni | Public | Student
Ticketing: Ticketed

This lecture is a visual journey through thousands of years of Black History, based on the book, ‘When We Ruled’, by Robin Walker. This intends to address the balance by posing the question: What history did Black People have before the slave trade?

Giving us a chance to discover the Songhai Empire, Great Zimbabwe, the Swahili Confederation, Ancient Nubia, Ancient Egypt and Axum/Abyssinia civilizations.

The lecture will close with a book signing of ‘When We Ruled’ and other publications.
