Katie Donington et al., Katie Donington, Kristy Warren, Lucy Capes, and Emma Winch of the Local Roots / Global Routes: the Legacies of Slavery in Hackney project

This talk will discuss a partnership project between UCL Legacies of British Slave-ownership and Hackney Museum and Archives that aimed to connect Hackney’s global communities with the past through a local lens and address questions of identity, home and belonging in the present. Tea and coffee at 11am, talk at 11:30.
