Speaker information

Urvashi Vashist, UCL Department of English Language and Literature
Tim Shakespeare, UCL Institute of Neurology Dementia Research Centre

This week, neuroscientist Tim Shakespeare will explore the unexpected relationship between Alzheimer’s disease and sight, a connection often missed amid assumptions the disease first affects the memory. Urvashi Vashist (UCL Department of English Language and Literature), looks at the tensions between life writing and fictional narratives in Virginia Woolf’s war diaries.

Join us for an inspiring lunch hour and take the opportunity to quiz some of UCL's early-career researchers about their work.
