UCL Grand Challenges (GC) is organising a UCL town meeting on the Social Issues around Artificial Intelligence. The event will complement and inform deliberations at a subsequent UCL event on AI Research on 11 June, organised by the UCL eResearch Domain working with Dr David Barber (UCL Computer Sciences) who has proposed the creation of a UCL Centre for AI Research. The town meeting on AI will also give staff and students an opportunity to recognise and engage with others with Artificial Intelligence-related interests across UCL, informing their ideas and choices for future research collaboration, teaching and learning.
