In this session, Professor Rosalva Aída Hernández (Simón Bolívar Chair, CLAS, Cambridge; CIESAS, Center for Research & Advanced Studies in Social Anthropology, Mexico City), Elena de Hoyos, a feminist poet, and Marina Ruiz, an editor and publisher, will present a documentary and the series entitled Revelación Intramuro: Poesía, Narrativa y Ensayo de mujeres en prisión (Vol. I, II y III) on collaborative work undertaken by the three speakers in creative writing workshops in women's prisons in Mexico.

Presentations will be in English; the documentary is in Spanish with English subtitles and it runs for about 20 minutes. The books are published by Colectivo Editorial Hermanas en la Sombra, a cooperative founded, funded and run by women currently in detention in Mexican prisons.
