Division of Medicine Seminar Programme - Distinguished External Speaker Series.

Speaker: Dr Daniel Hebenstreit, University of Warwick.

Co-hosts: Dr Mike Hubank, UCL Institute of Child Health and Dr Paul Frankel, Centre for Cardiovascular Biology.

Daniel Hebenstreit obtained his PhD in experimental molecular biology at the University of Salzburg in Austria. He went on to do a postdoctoral project in systems biology at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge. There, he focused on next generation sequencing and novel analysis techniques, which resulted in the identification of novel links between gene expression levels and histone modifications. In 2012, he established his own lab at the University of Warwick, where his research interests are single-cell variation, RNA-sequencing, and cell differentiation.

All welcome
