Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) for Dementia: an International Perspective

Location

Roberts Building (link Map)
Malet Place | London | WC1E 7JE | United Kingdom

Open to: Academic | Student

This one day training event will be led by up to four trainers; Dr Aimee Spector (Clinical Psychologist and original developer of CST) and Dr Joshua Stott, Dr Helen Donovan and Dr Gemma Ridel. All are Consultant Clinical Psychologists with extensive clinical and research expertise. If you attended training over 5 years ago, this may serve as a useful refresher. Alternatively, you may have other colleagues who may benefit from the course. Attending training equips people with skills to offer CST and ensures that it is delivered in a standardised, person-centred and effective way. The course combines traditional teaching with interactive sessions, small group exercises and DVD observation. There will be a maximum of 25 people with each trainer.
