London | WC1H 0AL | United Kingdom

Open to: Public
Admission: Free

Brain Detectives (12-18 years) is a four hour session where young people become participants in real scientific research projects, learn about the brain and have opportunities to speak to scientists about their work. Activities include fun computer games and puzzles. The 12 -18 years sessions will involve some demonstrations of some of the most famous research findings that help us to understand what the human brain can and can't do. Participants will need to deploy what they have learned about the brain to complete the task. In the course of the session, they will participate in research projects that are currently on-going at the UCL Institute of Education. Each of the researchers will be happy to explain their research and how it aims to help understand how people see and think about the world around them a little better.

Dates: 31 March (13:45-18:00), 1 April (13:45-18:00), 4 April (13:45-18:00), 5 April (13:45-18:00).
