CLOSER Discovery is a search engine that allows researchers to explore the content of eight UK longitudinal studies. Following its launch in January 2017, CLOSER are keen to explore opportunities to expand the Discovery repository and incorporate metadata from additional longitudinal studies based within the UK. This half day workshop aims to provide delegates with a clear and detailed overview of what it means to be a part of Discovery, from the overall advantages of joining down to the day-to-day practicalities of adding data to the repository.

This workshop is open to data managers and principal investigators of studies interested in joining CLOSER Discovery. It is also open to individuals interested in curation and metadata management as well as those working for organisations with metadata content.
