Speaker information

Niall Mclaughlin

Architects have always made instruments as well as buildings and recently they have conceived buildings and cities as if they were instruments. This lecture will look at the relationship between nature, technology and buildings. In particular, Niall Mclaughlin will ask whether the emergence of sustainability represents a new phase in our relationship with instruments.

Part of the Bartlett Architecture Lunchtime Lecture Series.
