Speaker information

Nichola Smalley, Department of Scandinavian Studies, UCL
Mark Fields, Engineer

This week, Nichola Smalley (UCL Department of Scandinavian Studies) explores the significant role of online forums in the UK dance music genre Grime. Engineer Mark Fields follows this by suggesting a new advance in medical technology that might help meet the needs of our ageing population and reduce the costs of healthcare in society.

Join us for an inspiring lunch hour and take the opportunity to quiz some of UCL's early-career researchers about their work.
