Making the most of IRIS and UCL Consulting for Early Career Researchers

Location

Roberts G06 Sir Ambrose Fleming LT | Roberts Building (link Map)
Malet Place | London | WC1E 7JE | United Kingdom

Open to: Academic | Student

During this seminar, Tom Couch and Neena Goward from UCL Research IT Services will explain how early career researchers can make the most of IRIS, UCL's Institutional Research Information Service. Björn Christianson from UCL Consultants, one of the UK’s leading providers of academic consultancy services, will discuss consulting opportunities for ECRs at UCL to share his perspectives on what makes a good IRIS profile.

Providing and maintaining a comprehensive profile in IRIS allows collaborators from both inside and outside of UCL to easily identify you and your work. For early career researchers in particular, this can be invaluable in maximising the impact of your work and identifying new research opportunities - the IRIS system is the go-to point for anyone looking for an expert, including the media and UCL Consultants.

An event from the Populations & Lifelong Health Early Careers Network.
