Speaker information: Prof. Manos Tsakiris, LAB (Lab of Action & Body), Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London. Host: Neuropsychoanalysis Group. Short bio: Manos Tsakiris studied psychology (Greece) and philosophy (UK) before completing his PhD in psychology and cognitive neurosciences at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, UCL. His research has focused on the neurocognitve mechanisms that shape the experience of embodiment and self-identity using a wide range of research methods, from psychometrics and psychophysics to neuroimaging. He is currently Professor of Psychology at the Dept of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London, and the recipient of the 22nd EPS Prize Lecture from the Experimental Psychology Society, UK, and the 2014 Mind & Brain Young Investigator Prize.
