Speaker information

Christopher Brown, Managing Director, Oakwood Engineering

Christopher Brown will be giving a talk about the highly-praised 4D BIM project at Gravesend Railway Station.

The 4D BIM project at Gravesend, which won the overall “Project of the Year” award at the Visual Planning Awards, involved a complex remodelling and virtual construction of the station using 3D models and National Rail’s hour by hour programme data (4D Modelling).

The presentation will focus on Oakwood’s approach to the project, including capturing 3D data, 3D model sources, implementation within the project team, model uses and lessons learned from the project.

This lecture is co-organised with ICES as part of their CPD programme.
