Find the mind's construction in the face
UCL Art Museum |
Gower St | London | WC1E 6BT | United Kingdom
Ticketing: Pre-booking essential
The plaster life and death masks in the Noel Collection were gathered in mid-19th Century Dresden to illustrate ‘good’ and ‘bad’ types of people. Dr Nick Shepley (UCL English) and DR Carole Reeves (UCL Science and Technology Studies) draw upon their different academic backgrounds – English Literature and History of Medicine – to create two themes for one exhibition. Follow one or both or make your own interpretation.
Nick Booth (UCL Museums) will be on hand to discuss the collection and present recent research into this unusual collection.
