Genetic screening of embryos and in the fetal is improving our ability to detect genetic abnormalities early in pregnancy.

Non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) is developing rapidly and being introduced both in the NHS and the private sector. It has the potential to reduce the rates of miscarriage and also limit chromosomal abnormalities as well as potentially serious, life-limiting hereditary conditions.

This event will look at these new advances in prenatal testing and ask what impact these developments are having as they are being expanded, refined and ultimately introduced into clinical practice.
