Introduction to applied genomics 2016

This one day course is aimed at healthcare and related professionals and will introduce participants to the cutting-edge genomics technologies, data analysis methods and resources that are increasingly being adopted by NHS laboratories. The course aims to explain how genomic medicine is becoming part of the day-to-day work of clinical laboratories and is based on real clinical cases. Participants will be directly involved in the analysis of genomic information through practical sessions and interactive learning. No specialist genomics or bioinformatics knowledge is assumed.
