Breaking Ground is an exhibition created as part of the Institute's 75th anniversary celebrations and will look at how the people, practices, and ideas of London's Institute of Archaeology have changed the way we explore and understand the past. The exhibition runs from May 2012 until February 2013 and will showcase a wide range of objects from the Institute's unparalleled collections as well as photographs from the Institute's archives. Quotations from interviews recently conducted with present members of staff will bring the innovations of the Institute's past into the context of its work today.
