Professor Tarani Chandola, University of Manchester

Guest speaker seminar series academic year: 2017-2018

The talk will address some of the criticisms of biosocial research from Sociology, reflecting on concerns related to eugenics, reductionism, determinism and paternalism. It will also try to respond to some of these challenges and suggest ways in which advances in biosocial research could address social science questions.
