Italian Cultural Institute | 39 Belgrave Square (link Map)
London | SW1X 8NX | United Kingdom

Open to: Academic | Alumni | Public | Student
Admission: Free
Ticketing: Pre-booking essential

A showing of the silent film recently restored from a Bologna archive, made over a hundred years ago by Francesco Bertolini, Adolfo Padovan and Giuseppe De Liguoro, and inspired by Gustave Doré’s engravings. There will be a brief introduction by Dr. Alessandro Scafi.

Part of the Dante Festival. The festival is a collaboration between our very generous host and supporter, the Italian Cultural Institute in London, and UCL Library Special Collections, UCL Italian Department in the School of European Languages, Culture and Society, The Warburg Institute, and St. Giles-In-The-Fields church.

If you want to find out more about Dante’s poetry and can’t come to the Dante workshop on 14 November, try our weekly readings on Tuesday lunchtimes.

Dr. Tabitha Tuckett
