‘The Women behind Petrie excavations’: International Women's Day

Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology | DMS Watson Building (link Map)
Malet Place | London | WC1E 6BT | United Kingdom

Open to: Alumni | Public | Student
Admission: Free
Ticketing: Pre-booking essential

The UCL Petrie Museum is named after Flinders Petrie, but many of his co-workers, particularly those who were Egyptian and female, are less well known. Join us for a celebration of the woman behind many of Petrie's excavations to link in with International Woman's Day. With the Association for the Study of Travel in Egypt and the Near East.
