This event will celebrate the first five years of UCL Grand Challenges, and aims to reflect and build upon the personal and institutional experiences gained. Through open discussion we aim to define the actions needed to strengthen, enhance and enable further cross-disciplinary engagement within and beyond our university, for the benefit of society.

The programme will include:

  • A review of what Grand Challenges have achieved to date
  • Views on the personal and institutional challenges which cross-disciplinary working presents
  • A panel discussion on the future of Grand Challenges hosted by the UCL President and Provost, Professor Michael Arthur
