Speaker information

Dr Olga V Antonova, Deputy Director for Education, Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, is also an Assistant Lecturer in Mechanics. She holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Peter the Great St Petersburg Polytechnic University and its a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Methods and Program Complexes.

In this talk Dr Olga V Antonova describes the Polytechnic University experience in training highly qualified engineers for Industry 4.0. She outlines the Masters programme developed and managed by the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, 'Computer engineering and digital manufacturing', and presents a wide range of research projects available for students undertaking the training.
